Teacher Grant

Teacher Grant

Have a great class project idea? Each Spring and Fall our credit union Awards 20 Teacher Grants of $500 each.

Congratulations to the twenty (20) educators selected to receive the $500 Fall Teacher Grants.

The commitment of each educator to their students was evident in the applications as they outlined creative ways to support STEM/STEAM skills pertaining to biology, engineering, and chemistry, hands-on molecular biology, lessons for structure and properties of matter, planning, building, and cultivating year round vegetables, providing speech therapy for special education students, procuring robots for kindergarten children, and purchasing resources for students from low-income neighborhoods. Additionally, projects involved community outreach including supporting local animal shelters, visually impaired students, the community multi-cultural festival, and providing art supplies for children at Rady Children's Hospital.

The Teacher Grant program will be available again in the Spring of 2018. Please come back and visit at that time for more information.

We support teachers who want to make a difference with our bi-annual Teacher Grant Program. We are pleased to support the education community by offering our Teacher Grant Program. The Grant is designed to assist educators by funding innovative learning opportunities for their students.

Since the creation of the program in 2012, more than $55,000 has been awarded to schools throughout Los Angeles County. Schools benefitting from last year’s program used the funds towards initiatives such as special education, business concepts, solar energy, water conservation and literacy.
