Serving as the philanthropic arm of California Credit Union, the Foundation leads its community outreach and support programs to make a lasting impact on the well-being of the communities it serves.

California Credit Union Foundation, a California non-profit public benefit corporation, applied for tax-exempt status under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) on October 11, 2023 with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The application status is pending. The IRS typically issues the federal tax determination 9-12 months after filing the application. Once the determination letter is issued, all donations to the Foundation since its inception will be tax deductible to the donor to the fullest extent permitted by law. While the application is pending, the Foundation is permitted to begin solicitations. California Credit Union Foundation will inform donors once the federal tax determination letter is obtained.
