Join California Credit Union

Credit unions are financial institutions, just like banks, that offer a range of products and services to help you reach your financial goals. In addition, credit unions are nonprofits that are owned by you, the member, instead of being owned by shareholders. This means, that as a member, you get a say in the decisions the credit union makes.

Membership is open to:

• Any immediate family, spouse, partner or household member of a California Credit Union member
• Any employee, retiree (pensioner or annuitant) or unpaid volunteer of a Partner Organization – plus, once you join, your immediate family and household members can enjoy membership too
• If you don’t meet one of the requirements above, you can join through a membership in the American Consumer Council. It’s complimentary, with no application or extra steps required

You are eligible for a business membership if:

• You are an existing California Credit Union member and own a business
• You are a business owner that is an employee, retiree (pensioner or annuitant) or unpaid volunteer of a Partner Organization, or an immediate family, partner or household member of a California Credit union member
• If you don’t meet these requirements, your business can join through a complimentary membership in the American Consumer Council

We are one combined credit union, serving members since 1933. We operate as California Credit Union in all our communities except San Diego and Riverside counties, where we do business as North Island Credit Union, a division of California Credit Union. Same great people, same great service.
