since 1940
Since our founding in 1940, North Island Credit Union has provided top-notch service to our members with a suite of consumer, business and investment products and services built to support our members’ dreams and help them plan for the future.
North Island Credit Union was founded to provide banking resources to military and civil service personnel in California. In 2017, North Island Credit Union joined forces with California Credit Union to provide even greater opportunities to members. A true partnership for the future, California Credit Union further established our roots in the local community and our proud ties to the military.
We’ve since expanded our service area, with membership available to community members, businesses and educators, wherever they live, work or do business. We continue to operate under our North Island Credit Union brand in San Diego and Riverside counties, as a division of California Credit Union.
Providing equal access to affordable banking continues to be part of our cooperative mission. With a Low-Income Designation, we offer a Checking account that meets the Bank On National Account Standards, providing safe access to everyday banking, along with products and services designed to support financial stability in our underserved communities.
We have great respect for the strong relationships we have established over the years — and with the support of our loyal members, we will continue to deliver peace of mind through stability, collaboration and service.
